March Newsletter

Attention Parents and Students:  Here is a calendar of events for various activities involving all students and Broad Street Entertainers.  Please be sure to highlight any that apply to your child.  Thank You!  

REMINDER – April tuition is due the first week of March.  A 10% service fee will be added to all outstanding tuition after the 15th of the month.  No exceptions.

All company dance classes are preparing for the competition in May.  You MUST ATTEND your classes unless you are sick.  Please call when you will be absent due to illness.Solos, duos, and trios will be billed if 24 hours cancellation notice is not given. 

Reminder:  At least 14 private classes must be attended for the year to be able to perform in the recital.

VISITING:  DANCE & GYMNASTICS – We will be holding parent observation for DANCE AND GYMNASTIC CLASSES BEGINNING MONDAY, APRIL 7TH  AND ENDING SATURDAY, APRIL 12th .   Anyone wishing to videotape or take pictures may do so at this time.  We ask you to limit the number of small children you bring to visiting.  Please keep the conversation soft during class, as it is very distracting to the students and teachers. Classes will be dismissed 15 minutes early during visiting. There will be no make-up classes during dance and gym visitation.  Thank You!

*** Special note to all Gymnastic parents**** ALL PARENTS MUST STAY OFF THE GYM FLOOR, YOU ARE ALLOWED IN THE VISITING AREA ONLY.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.

EASTER CLOSING:  All studios will be closed FRIDAY, APRIL 18TH , SATURDAY, APRIL 19TH  and MONDAY, APRIL 21ST  for the Easter holiday.  Please come to your scheduled make-up times.  Classes will resume on Tuesday,  APRIL 22ND .

PHOTO DATES: FRIDAY, APRIL 25TH and SATURDAY, APRIL 26TH.  

 You will receive a photo note and time regarding your child’s costume.  Photo notes will have the date, the time and information regarding tights, shoes and hair style for that costume.  If your child received their solo, duo, or trio costume please schedule a photo time on April 25th or 26th only if you intend on purchasing them.

MAY 1, 2, 3, & 4 - Competition for Broad Street Entertainers at the Crowne Plaza, 260 Mall Blvd., King of Prussia.  Additional information for the competition will come at a later date. Please attend your classes.

BRING A FRIEND:  Students may bring a friend beginning Monday, May 12TH through Saturday, May 17TH to participate in a dance class.  Come in comfortable clothing (dance students only).  Gymnastics students may bring a friend to observe only.  NO participation due to insurance reasons.

SATURDAY, MAY 17 - QUAKERTOWN ARTS ALIVE at 10:00 a.m.         

RAINDATE: MAY 18. DOWNTOWN QUAKERTOWN  You will get a note if you are in the show. 

GYM SHOW:  The gym show for the gym team, production class, and all gymnastic classes will be held on Friday, June 13 at Faith Church of Sellersville, 700 N. Main St., Sellersville at 6:00 p.m.  More information will follow.  

RECITAL DATES – June 20, 21, & 22 – We close each school year with our recitals.  This is the highlight of your child’s dance year.  Rehearsal for all company classes and private classes will be on Friday, June 20.  We will post the divisions for each recital in each studio after Easter. Costumes are starting to come in and we have been giving them out.  PLEASE look for a notice with your child’s costume regarding your child’s tights, shoes, hair style and photo time.   Please order tights, earrings, shoes, bras and bloomers as soon as possible.  

CONGRATULATIONS TO NATALIE FRONK, one of our Broad Street Entertainers for being accepted into the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts for the 2025-26 school year..

MISS CINDY’S SCHOOL OF DANCE WAS VOTED THE BEST DANCE STUDIO FOR 2025 BY THE PENNY POWER READERS.  THANK YOU FOR VOTING FOR US.  

Great Easter Gift Idea:  Gift Certificates are available for summer classes.  The summer schedule will be in the next newsletter.  We also have a large selection of dance leotards, pink ballet skirts, wrap skirts, pink and black backpacks, pink duffle bags, car magnets, Small $5.00, Large $10.00, and blankets.  Magnets are on display in 

Studio I on the office door.  Pink and Purple T-shirts and sweatshirts are still available.  Place your order now to receive them in time for Easter.  Order forms are available at the studios.

SUMMER SCHEDULE 2025

COME HAVE SOME SUMMER FUN AT OUR DANCE  AND GYMNASTIC CLASSES

1.  FOUR WEEK SUMMER DANCE OR GYMNASTIC SESSION – Begins the week of

     July 7(Monday) and ends the week of July 28(Monday).  Sign up using the

     attached enrollment form.  Sign up early because some classes fill quickly.

     Please provide a $40.00 nonrefundable deposit to hold your space.

     Cost - $85.00. A summer insurance fee of $16.00 is required for the cheer and  

     gymnastic classes unless your child was registered this past year in our Gymnastic

     program.

2 .  Preschool camp – Our preschool camp is for students ages 3-6.  The cost is

      $120.00 and includes snacks, arts & crafts, dance, music, and gymnastics.  

      The PRESCHOOL camp will be held in the Quakertown studio, JULY 14, 15, & 16  

      from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  A $60.00 non-refundable deposit will hold

      your spot.  If you are interested, return the form and deposit as soon as possible.

3.  We will be presenting “The Most Wonderful Time of The Year” Christmas show

     this year.  GIRLS & BOYS AGES 5 YEARS & UP WHO PRESENTLY STUDY

     JAZZ, BALLET, AND TAP CAN AUDITION FOR A CHANCE TO BE A

     PERFORMER IN THE CHRISTMAS SHOW. TWO CAMPS IN THE SUMMER.

     COSTUMES ARE GIVEN TO USE.  MORE INFO TO FOLLOW.  

        Auditions for “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” will be held on Saturday, June 7

        at Studio II in  Quakertown.Come dressed in dance wear, tights, and all your dance shoes.

       Ages 5-8 are 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.   Ages 9-11 are 10:45 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

                       Ages 12 & up 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Bring your pointe shoes.

     We will be having two camps for “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” over

     the summer.  The first camp will be from June 24 – June 27 from 3:00 p.m. –

     7:00 p.m. and the second camp will be from August 12 – August 15 from

     3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  Please mark your calendars.

4.  Broadstreet Entertainer Auditions will be held on Saturday, June 14 in the

     Quakertown Studio.
